Abbotsford Alano Club Society
Since 1984, The Abbotsford Alano Club Society has been helping local people with alcohol and other drug problems to resume an alcohol and drug-free life.
Its purpose is to provide people in recovery with a safe and clean place to gather for recovery meetings, fellowship, and recreation, in a supportive environment in which people can work at changing their lives.
Who Is the Alano Club For?
Abbotsford Alano Club Society’s mandate is to provide a recreational club for the assistance of persons who have suffered from alcoholism and/or other substance abuse or whose parents, children, or spouses are suffering from alcoholism or other substance abuse. We are also family and community friendly, but we request that all guests adhere to the club’s Code of Conduct.

What are the Club opening hours?
The Club is open from 7:30am—3:30pm every day, 7 days a week.
Please note that the kitchen closes at 2PM for food.
Meetings and events can be held after hours.
Do I need to be a member of the Club to attend meetings?
No, you don’t need to be a member to come to our Club.
Abbotsford Alano Club is open to everyone, so just come as you are! If you become a regular, we’d love for you to think about becoming a member to support our mission. By becoming a Club member, your monthly pledges ensure that we can cover our operating expenses and always be here for those who need us.

What is the monthly membership fee?
Our affordable membership fees are $7 per month for a single person, and $10 per month for a family. This ensures that cost is not a barrier for our community.
Can I enter the Club if I’m not a member of AA (or related programs)?
Absolutely, we are family and community friendly!
